Prayer And Care

As people of God, we understand that to pray is to trust. We trust God's promise to listen, to forgive, to renew and change us as we pray. Prayer is simply, yet profoundly, human communication with God. It is God's invitation, through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, to keep lines of communication open between God's children and Creator. Prayer will assist in strengthening your relationship with God.

We invite you to join us in praying for the people of the world, your neighbors and our community.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministry equips lay parishioners to provide confidential, one-to-one Christian care, to reach out with God's love to people who are hurting, who are experiencing difficulties in thier lives.

A Stephen Minister is a caring, Christian friend who walks alongside a person who is going through a difficult time - a death, divorce, family crisis, loss of a job or other time of transitions. A Stephen Minister listens, prays, supports and encourages, with unconditional acceptance. They commit to "be there" for his or her care receiver, meeting faithfully for about an hour each week, for as long as they are needed - from a few weeks, to several months.
