“As each has received a gift, employ it for one another as good stewards.” (1 Peter 4:10)

The people of First Lutheran have always had a special vision for serving the community and the world. God has blessed our congregation with talents, gifts, dedication and caring. For this we are truly thankful! We take seriously our stewardship responsibility and the use of these and other gifts both for the present and for future generations.

The First Lutheran Endowment Fund provides a unique and lasting stewardship vehicle for people to express gratitude to God for the blessings they have received.

The First Lutheran Church Endowment Fund is a separate fund established by a special resolution adopted by the congregation on December 13, 1987.

The Endowment Fund receives gifts of cash, securities, life insurance and real estate, oversees the administration and investment of such funds as an endowment in perpetuity and distributes the income for religious, educational and charitable purposes.

The Fund enhances the ministries of First Lutheran Church.

Please consider the Endowment Fund in your will or as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy. This allows the gift you make to continue supporting our First Lutheran family and the community to carry on the ministry you believe in.

You can send your contribution to First Lutheran Church Endowment Fund, 1551 South 70th Street, Lincoln, NE, 68506.
