Our new learning year kicked off on Sunday with a learning fair that had something for everyone! There were “Promise Land” milk and honey balls to make, jeans to cut to make shoes that will protect children in Uganda from jiggers, musical instruments to make out of water bottles and paper plates so we don’t create extra waste for the earth, Bible stories to hear about people who got fresh starts and new beginnings (like Jonah who landed in the belly of a fish!) and opportunities to learn more about Adult Forum, bible studies, coffee talk, Gather and Gab and other men and women small learning groups.
