From Youth Participant, Caleb Ruch:
Thursday, our last day of service, started with breakfast prep from Liz, Will, Tristan, Aden and me. After a great breakfast we went to devotions and then circled up for our service for the day. Our group went to the Salvation Army Community Center and played games with the kids all day while the other group went to another Salvation Army and they sorted clothes, took inventory and unloaded supplies. After that we came back to the housing site and too much needed showers. We ate dinner after that and went to the bridge over South Carolina and Georgia. We returned to our housing site and worshiped and went to bed for our last night in Georgia.
From Adult Leader, Sharon Hardel:
Thursday was a great last day of service at the Salvation Army. The group worked really hard and completed more on the list than the guys in charge thought we would. They even treated us to pizza and soda for lunch. We ended the night with our final worship and foot washing. It was an awesome week! Thanks Youthworks staff!
