The First Lutheran travel curse is still alive and well! Before even leaving the rental car lot in Atlanta, GA,, our accompaniment team of 12 youth and 4 adults, had three different vans due to low tire pressure! So, half of the group arrived a bit late to Amazing Grace Lutheran Church, the church former Associate Pastor of First Lutheran, Justin Eller, is now serving at.
But, they all eventually arrived safely and and enjoyed an evening of pizza, fellowship and a movie before setting up camp in the Sanctuary for the night. They enjoyed a wonderful worship service this morning at Amazing Grace before traveling to their accompaniment destination of Savannah.
At First Lutheran, we are a community of disciples of Jesus Christ working for the transformation of the world. Throughout our history, we have remained committed to drawing on our Lutheran (ELCA) tradition of using meaningful worship, content-rich learning and warm hospitality to care well for our congregation, the surrounding community and the world.
