February 2 – The Lighthouse – Pete Allman, Executive Director. The Lighthouse promotes the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of adolescents. It is a place for love, respect, diversity, education, personal responsibility, honesty and a place of belonging. Pete will explain how these values are met.
February 9 – Pastors Through the Years – Judy Batterman, First Lutheran member. Judy will introduce us to the pastors that have served at First Lutheran through the years.
February 16 – Human Trafficking – Denise Mainquist, First Lutheran member. Learn about human trafficking in our communities, how to recognize it, how to respond to it, how the Bible informs our response as Christians and how to use our spiritual gifts to make a difference.
February 23 – Women and Climate Change – Anna Ripa, First Lutheran member. Learn ways women are impacted by climate change from gathering food, fetching scarce water, disease prevention to changing policy.
