Planning is underway for our second All-Church Retreat on Saturday, September 9! We had a great time together at last year’s retreat—our very first— (just browse through the photos below and see for yourself!) and this year’s will be even bigger and better.
The All-Church Retreat is a chance for us to gather as a faith family to rest, recreate, connect, play, pray and worship together. We will also enjoy the 317 acres of rolling hills at Camp Carol Joy Holling outside of Ashland, NE. This year we’ve reserved the Hazel Dillon Lodge at CJH which will give us an even bigger homebase for the day that includes a big wrap-around porch for relaxing and quiet resting/napping spaces for our littlest retreat-goers.
The retreat is for all ages which means there will be activities for both children and adults. We will start the day at 9:30 AM (but arrive when your schedule allows), have a variety of activities throughout the day, worship outdoors, have supper together at the lodge and wrap up with s’mores around the campfire.
