Individuals, couples and family groups are invited to explore serving with altar guild. Information sessions are planned on January 9 and 30. Meet in the Gathering Area at 9:30 am. Training will also be available in person and via video.
Opportunities to serve include:
- Monthly chair/co-chair – Set up for 8:15 am service. Coordinate with altar guild chair and volunteers to ensure coverage for the Sunday services.
- Support/clean up (8:15 am or 10:45 am services) – During communion, be ready to supply wafers, wine and juice from the Sacristy as needed. After the 8:15 am service, clean up and reset for the 10:45 am service. After the 10:45 am service, clean up and store all items.
Currently, two volunteers are needed per service. When pandemic conditions and operating procedures allow changes to communion and/or more people begin attending services, we may return to needing four volunteers per service.
