Our pets bless us every single day of the year in so many ways. One day a year we have a chance to officially bless our furry (or scaly or feathered) friends at church as we celebrate the life and witness of St. Francis of Assisi (12-13th c.) This celebration includes a blessing of the animals. On Saturday, at 10:00 am under our Portico, we will offer a blessing to your animal friends and companions. Please ensure your pet is on a leash or caged. This year we are asking you to bring a donation of dog or cat food (wet or dry) to be donated to the Pieloch Pet Adoption Center (Capital Humane Society).
