Thank you to everyone who agreed to being a 2025 candidate for an elected position at First Lutheran Church. The Nominating Committee did an outstanding job of delivering a slate of well-qualified candidates for the four ballots at our annual meeting.

The Congregationl Council met after the annual meeting concluded to elect the 2025 Executive Committee. Serving on the Executive Committee will be: Rod Johnson, President; Kari Hoeft, Vice President; Emily Sears, Secretary; and Scott Williamson, Treasurer.
After much discussion, the congregation approved the proposed 2025 budget, with a commitment by the Congregational Council to revise it over the next few months by incorporating budget cuts to reduce reliance on reserve funds. In the coming weeks, the Council will engage with the congregation through discussions to gather their ideas and feedback. Additionally, an option will be provided for members who wish to increase their 2025 pledges to help boost income. Stay tuned for further updates and details.
