In response to this and out of an abundance of caution, we are taking a two-week pause on our in-person worship services and events at First Lutheran. That means that this coming Sunday, January 23, we will have livestream only worship at 8:15 am (no Saturday service). The second of our annual meeting previews on Sunday will be held via Zoom at 9:30 am (click this link to join the Zoom session).
There’s a strong possibility that our annual meeting on January 30 may need to be held completely online and we are preparing for that possibility. However, even if we do meet in-person, an online option via Zoom will be offered for those who are not comfortabale attending in-person. Registration is required ahead of time to join the meeting online. Please click on the link below to register. Be sure to also click on the links below to review the 2021 Annual Report and the bios of the 2022 nominees for election.
In the meantime, our COVID Task Force will meet again on Tuesday, January 25, to look at the latest data and decide on recommendations for moving forward.
During this time, as we take shelter in the God who has promised to be a refuge for us, please join me in praying especially for our health care workers, for all who need medical treatment, and for our schools, teachers, students and administrators as they navigate the next few weeks.
We look forward to having you join us for worship online this Sunday!
In Christ,
