Thank you to everyone who attended the Town Hall meeting on April 30. I hope the finance portion was insightful and provided some assurance about where the church’s financials stand after the first quarter. April was another strong month. Receipts for the month totaled $83k and expenses totaled $70k, leading to a 13k surplus for the month. The YTD surplus is $35k.
As indicated at the Town Hall meeting, receipts are ahead of budget. Roughly 20 members have paid their entire 2023 pledge which is inflating the receipts figure for the time being. We will likely see slower receipt months as the year continues. Lastly, the Lenten Soup Suppers raised $1,219.73! These funds will be allocated evenly to the Clinic with a Heart and Friendship Home!
