August 11 – Seeking Asylum at the Border – A Documented Struggle for Safety – Pastor Justin and Kari Eller. Hear stories from their recent border immersion experience in El Paso, Texas. Learn more about the documented struggle for safety and discover ways to connect with on-going ministries which live out our welcome statement.
August 18 – Family Systems Theory as it Applies to Congregational Life – Pastor Dan Warnes. Family Systems theory describes how our families function together. Hear how the theory shapes the way he understands leadership and how it serves us as a faith community.
August 25 – Lincoln Littles – Michelle Suarez, Prosper Lincoln. In Lincoln, 78% of children live in households where all parents are in the workforce. Children are in nonparental care so access to high-quality child care plays a critical role in the development of children.
