Want to soak up the fresh air and beautiful colors of autumn? Join us for our First Fall Festival on Sunday, October 6! It’s a perfect chance to create memories with your loved ones—family, friends, and First members. Everyone is welcome to this community-wide event!
Whether you’re in the mood for live music, tasty lunch from one of our two food trucks (Mary Ellen’s Barbecue and The Tastee), or just some free fun from Noon to 3:00 PM, we’ve got you covered! There’ll be something for all ages to enjoy! Kids will have a blast with the Bounce House, ring toss, bean bag toss, and matching duck pond game. Teens can get into the new frisbee slam game! And no matter your age, our corn hole toss, ladder toss, basketball toss, lawn checkers, Connect Four game, and pumpkin painting are sure to be hits! Plus, a balloon artist will be there to whip up some cool animal balloons!
Speaking of pets, your furry friends are also invited for a pet blessing at 1:00 PM! Bring some quarters to grab a game card and play Bingo, with all proceeds going to the Capital Humane Society in honor of Blessing of the Animals Day!
We’re teaming up with Las Abejitas Bilingual Education Center at First to host their open house as part of the festival! They’ll have an Usborpartnene book fair on festival day, and you’ll find a wishlist if you’d like to buy books for their classrooms. If they hit their goal of $500 in purchases, they’ll get 50% back in free books! There’ll be a great selection in both English and Spanish for kids of all ages. Don’t forget to bring your Christmas gift list to pick up books for those special little ones in your life!
The event will go on, rain or shine, at First Lutheran Church, located at 1551 S. 70th Street in Lincoln! So gather your friends, neighbors and family and come hang out with us! Parking is available in the church lot, with additional spots at Morley Elementary School and at 6900 A Street.
