Be a Guardian Angel to an Immigrant

By January 24, 2020January 25th, 2020Care Ministry, News, Serve
Being a Guardian Angel is being a minister of presence. It means attending the juvenile immigration docket in Omaha to be the church present for children and families. Even though it is a ministry of observing, silently praying, note-taking and reassuring smiles, it is important to those who are fearful and stressed from the immigration process. If you are interested in being a Guardian Angel, there will be a training on Saturday, February 1, from 9:00 am-Noon, at San Andres Lutheran Church in Omaha. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Justin.
