Buy Handmade Products by Karen Refugee Community at Gifts of Hope Market

By November 26, 2017Global, News, Serve

The Gifts of Hope Market display from Lincoln Lutheran Family Services Refugee Support will feature shoulder bags and other wearable art created on back strap looms by members of Lincoln’s Karen community. Traditional Karen fabric will also grace cards suitable for framing. LFS Volunteer Coordinator, Parker Cook, will be on hand to offer suggestions for gift certificates that “give twice,” honoring the recipient with a donation toward specific needs of new refugee arrivals.
