At First Lutheran we care for our sisters and brothers with a meal in times of need. Our Casserole Care-a-Van volunteers deliver a meal to a family or individual recovering from illness or surgery, welcoming a new baby or dealing with a death or family crisis. We are in need of more volunteers to help with this important ministry. You don’t have to be a gourmet chef or prepare a fancy meal; the simpler it is, the better! It’s not a monthly commitment and you can say, “I’m sorry. I can’t.”, if you are asked and your schedule doesn’t allow you to. Those who have received a meal are so appreciative.
