On Sunday, October 28, we will commemorate the 501st anniversary of the Protestant Reformation, as it is from where we trace many of our Lutheran roots. This annual church holiday highlights the vibrant ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in our midst, challenging us to be a church open to the power of God’s re-shaping and re-forming love for the sake of the world. We will also celebrate the Affirmation of Baptism of our 9th grade class as they make a public promise to take responsibility for their continued growth in faith. Be sure to wear your red (for the Holy Spirit) and join us in giving thanks and praise to God for these inspiring young people!
