On Sunday, the First community came together to celebrate something truly special: the members who make everything possible. Hosted by the Congregational Council and staff, the Member Appreciation Brunch was a heartfelt way to say “thank you” to the hundreds of volunteers who bring our ministries to life.
The event, catered by Village Inn, didn’t just satisfy appetites – it filled hearts too. Laughter and conversations flowed as members shared moments of fellowship and reflected on the incredible work we achieve together.
It was a reminder of something deeper – that all of us, offering our time, talents and resources, big or small, play an important role in doing God’s work. It takes a community to create the impact that extends beyond these walls and into the lives of many.
