The saying, “Christmas is for kids!”, isn’t more true than on Christmas Eve. That’s why at First Lutheran our Christmas Eve worship service at 1:30 PM will be for kids and about kids. It doesn’t matter if you’ve ever worshiped at First Lutheran or stepped into any church for a long time or ever, you and your family are invited to our engaging family Christmas worship service. Every aspect of the worship service will have kids in mind. Kids will be invited to participate in the re-telling of Jesus’ birth! There will be a children’s message (Sorry! There won’t be an adult sermon!) and singing of Christmas carols, including “Silent Night” to candlelight. This short worship service will accommodate children of all ages and even leave time for families to stop by the Christmas photo booth to capture a family Christmas photo! Join us for our Family Christmas Eve worship service at First Lutheran where Christmas is for kids!
If our family service doesn’t work for you, we will be offering our traditional Candlelight Christmas Eve service with Communion on December 24 at 3:30 (livestream available), 5:30 and 7:30 PM featuring a children’s choir, youth orff ensemble, string ensemble, adult choir, bell choir and brass ensemble. Our Christmas Day worship at 10:00 AM will include carols, reflective readings and communion.
Please know that YOU are welcome anytime at First Lutheran, no matter if it’s Christmas or not. We hope you join us. We would love to have you!
