Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on November 23

By November 14, 2025Events, News

First Lutheran members are invited to join our wider faith community for the Community Interfaith Thanksgiving Service on Sunday, November 23 at 3:00 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church (2110 Sheridan Blvd., Lincoln).

This annual gathering brings together people from many faith traditions to celebrate gratitude, unity, and our shared hope. Rev. Thomas Dummermuth, Associate Pastor at Eastridge Presbyterian Church and Vice President of the Faith Coalition of Lancaster County, will offer this year’s message.

An interfaith choir will provide musical leadership, and all are welcome to sing. Rehearsal begins at 2:00 PM. Those interested can contact Brian Pfoltner at musicdir@fpclincoln.org or 402-477-6037.

A reception will follow the service. Attendees are invited to bring a dessert to share and, if able, a donation of non-perishable food for the Food Bank of Lincoln.

All are welcome to participate in this meaningful moment of thanksgiving with our community.
