2019 is the 50th Anniversary of the CROP Hunger Walk! First Lutheran Church is the host church again for the 2019 Lincoln CROP Walk on Sunday, October 13, starting at 1:00 pm. We are looking for volunteers to help mark the route that morning, register walkers and hand out t-shirts, provide music prior to the commissioning, man the water/snack half-way stop at Robert’s Park and greet and direct walkers. Watch for a CROP Walk sign-up table in mid-September or visit the Lincoln CROP Walk website at www.crophungerwalk.org/lincolnne. Search for the First Lutheran team to register as a walker or to generously support a First Lutheran walker. 25% of all funds raised in the Lincoln Walk support local food ministries.
