CROP Walk…Ending Hunger One Step at a Time

First Lutheran Church was the host of the 2019 Lincoln CROP Walk yesterday. Walkers from all over the city gathered for a commissioning ceremony before hitting the streets to walk 3 miles to raise money for local food programs. Local agencies, such as Tabitha’s Meals on Wheels, several Lincoln and Lancaster County food pantries and the Indian Center will be the recipients of 25% of the funds raised. Thank you to all the walkers, donors and volunteers who helped make the 50th anniversary of CROP Walk a success. You are helping to end hunger…one step at a time!
