Cultivating Love: Hear Stories of Connection from First Members

By September 16, 2024News
This past weekend, we launched our annual Season of Stewardship with the theme of “Cultivating Love.” We are delving into how God nurtures love within us as we foster connection, community and grace through the ministry of First Lutheran. Each week for the remainder of September, we will feature stories from First members about how they have experienced connection, community or grace in their lives through others.

This week, our focus is on building connections. Tune in at https://vimeo.com/1009642678 to hear the Schmitter family share their story of connection during our Temple Talk time in worship yesterday. Take a moment to also hear from Anna Wemhoff and Fred Ohles in the video below as they talk about how their lives have been enriched through their relationships with others.

What’s your story? How have you demonstrated or experienced connection in your life? How do you plan to cultivate love through connections in 2025?
