The final Dinner+Learning family gathering for the school year was held last evening.
Matthew 28:19-20 was the the focus of the night…
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Even though we know what disciples are, we aren’t really disciples until we do what disciples do. Just like we know how to make paper airplaines, we don’t experience the fun of them until we actually fly them. We continue to tweak our planes and learn from each other on how to make them fly further and straighter.
We continue to learn and practice our discipleship, too, because we don’t always get it right. But one thing we know is that Jesus promises to always be with us.
