Discipleship University Creates Stress, Annoyance, Competition and Energy

The “Race to 100” game created stress, annoyance, competitiveness, energy and a sense of being rushed with our students and parents at last week’s Discipleship University (confirmation). A discussion about the pace of the world we live in and the similar feelings experienced like when playing the game was followed by Pastor Andrew leading a lesson on the third commandment…Keep the Sabbath day holy… and the importance of rest.

Are you feeling rushed, stressed or annoyed in your life right now? Perhaps it’s time for you to also rest. What can you do today that will offer you the opportunity to slow down?
