At this week’s Discipleship University (aka Confirmation), the students played Dead Cow, where a farmer had to make the cows laugh to bring them back to life. They also focused on the poem, “Good and Worthy of Love”, by Joe Davis by reading it together and sharing what stood out to them. They talked about body images and what messages they hear from the world, followed by reading three healing stories from the Bible to find out what Jesus had to say about bodies. They related all of this to the first article of the Apostles Creed and ended their time together reciting a baptismal blessing.
