Looking for a summer filled with learning, fun and faith for your kids? Join us for the On Earth As in Heaven Vacation Bible School (VBS)! Hosted by First Lutheran Church in partnership with Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, this five-day event is packed with opportunities for kids to grow in faith, make friends and have an unforgettable time.
What’s the Theme?
On Earth As in Heaven invites kids to explore the meaning of the Lord’s Prayer. Each day, we’ll focus on a different part of the prayer, paired with Bible verses that show how prayer connects us with God and inspires us to make the world a better place.

Mark your calendar! VBS runs June 16-20, 8:30 AM–Noon at First Lutheran Church, 1551 S. 70th Street. Open to kids ages 3 through 5th grade (friends welcome!).

What Can My Child Expect?
Kids won’t just hear Bible stories – they will learn real-life lessons of how God’s love works here on earth. Through stories from places like Mexico, Kenya and Ohio, they will see how people worldwide promote zero hunger, good health, education and peace.

- Crafts and Snacks Inspired by Global Cultures – Creative crafts and tasty treats from around the world.
- Hands-On Service Projects – Collect items for Lutheran Family Services Well-being Boxes and join meaningful service activities.
- Interactive Storytelling and Videos – Engaging stories and videos that bring global ministries to life.
- Games, Songs and Fellowship – Music, play and making friends in a welcoming group.
