The Ed Love Combo, along with jazz singer, Jackie Allen, will welcome in the holiday season at First Lutheran’s “First Friday Jazz” concert on Friday, December 6, from 11:30 am-1:00 pm.
Allen’s popular jazz vocal style will be featured on such songs as “Santa Baby”, “Winter Wonderland” and “The Christmas Song”. Jackie’s extraordinary talent has taken her on world tours. She is a recording artist for Blue Note Records and others and has released 12 critically acclaimed CDs.
Ed’s combo has been an audience favorite at each year’s First Friday Jazz. His concert appearance will mark his 9th appearance. Joining Ed on saxophone and flute, will be Tom Larson on piano, Hans Sturm on bass and Justin Jones on drums.
