ELCA Good Gifts Program featured at Gifts of Hope Market in December

By November 19, 2017Events, Global, News, Serve

As members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), we believe God is calling us into the world – together. And with generous, loving hands, we can make a difference.

At the Gifts of Hope market on December 2 and 3 you will have the opportunity to provide critical support to ministries and programs in 83 countries through the ELCA Good Gifts program.

Every project in every community starts with listening. Congregations and their partners know their communities best. That’s why they identify the needs and priorities in their communities, as well as the solutions they believe will make the biggest impact.

The items available to purchase through the Good Gifts program are real projects currently supported through different churchwide ministries. The projects have been planned by our ELCA partners – meaning that each community receives exactly the kind of support they need and none of what they don’t. Gifts range from $10 to $2000 with projects that include health care, water, agriculture, women and children, international emergencies, the global barnyard, church projects and help at home.

Pick up an ELCA Good Gifts catalog in the Commons or go on line at www.elca.org/goodgifts.
