Enjoy One of the Last Warm Days of the Year on the Prairie

Enjoy what could be one of our very last 80 degree days of the year on Saturday at one of the most beautiful prairies in our area – Spring Creek Prairie!

On Saturday, come out to the 850-acre prairie near Denton and celebrate the fall season at Spring Creek’s annual Hoot ‘n Howl event! The FREE festival runs from 5:00-8:00 pm with music, a live bird show, wagon rides through the tall grass, costumed prairie animals and interactive displays. Listen to Kevin Poague, Operations Manager at Spring Creek, share in the video what is in store for YOU and your friends and family when you attend this wonderful outdoor event!

As a special add-on event, First Lutheran member, Martha Tanner, will be hosting a short prairie hike for First Lutheran members of all ages before the festival begins! Meet her and the other hosts behind the Visitor Center at 4:30 pm to take advantage of this opportunity!

Again, the event is free, but a donation was made on behalf of First Lutheran Church to the Audobon Center. You, too, will have an opportunity to support the care of Spring Creek Prairie at the 2022 Gifts of Hope Market on December 3 and 4 at First Lutheran!
