FaithTrek’s December Word of the Month is “Come!”

By November 28, 2017Children, Learn

The FaithTrek word of the month in December is, “COME!” Just like the shepherds in the fields, we are waiting for the Messiah to come. Unlike the shepherds, however, we know the rest of the story. We know Jesus’ birth was announced by a group of angels, and Jesus, the Prince of Peace and Messiah, came as a baby, born in a barn, greeted by shepherds and later honored by kings. We know the story and we are celebrating Advent and waiting for Christmas to come.

Come to the congregational celebration December 17 in the Activity Center. A light breakfast will be available starting at 9:15 am. There will be carols, music, conversation and participatory story with a project that requires everyone’s help. FaithTrek will not meet December 24 and December 31.

The December Parent Guide is available for pickup on Sunday mornings or download.
