It was a hot afternoon, but the heat didn’t stop First Lutheran members from exploring the beauty of UNL’s Earl G. Maxwell Arboretum!
Along the way, we enjoyed colorful gardens, the Backyard Farmer display garden, native prairie plantings and the magnificent mature trees that make the arboretum such a special place to learn, wander and appreciate God’s creation.
A special thank-you to First Lutheran member Jeff Culbertson, UNL Director of Landscape Operations, for hosting our tour and sharing his knowledge, stories and enthusiasm for the plants and landscapes around us. We are grateful for an afternoon of discovery, connection and beauty—even in the Nebraska heat!
