Finding Inspiration in the Postlude: Celebrating Our Volunteer Musicians

Sometimes, we leave the Sanctuary during the postlude without giving it the same attention we afford the prelude. Yet, taking a moment to pause and listen to the postlude can be just as uplifting and inspiring – like Sunday’s postlude, for example.

At First Lutheran, our music ministry isn’t driven by professional, paid musicians but by the contributions of our members. People of all ages and skill levels come together, dedicating their time and talents to create a meaningful worship experience. Sunday’s jazz ensemble was a perfect example – a diverse group of young and older members who, with just a few rehearsals, volunteered their gifts to enrich our worship. A heartfelt thank you to all our volunteer musicians for enriching our community with your dedication and talent!
