First Friday Jazz to Feature Largest Ensemble in 13 Year History

By November 28, 2024News
On the 6th of December, witness the performance of an exceptional jazz septet from the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra at the upcoming First Friday Jazz concert. The concert, taking place at First Lutheran Church, will proudly showcase the extraordinary talents of Ed Love on woodwinds, Bob Krueger with his trumpet, Pete Madsen on trombone, Peter Bouffard strumming the guitar, Tom Harvill on the piano, Andy Hall on bass and Greg Ahl on drums.

Make your way to the First Lutheran Activity Center, located at 1551 South 70th Street in Lincoln, anytime between 11:30 AM and 1:00 PM. While the concert is free of charge, we warmly welcome your generous donations in support of our musicians. And if you come hungry, don’t fret, lunch is available for purchase. In the spirit of giving, we encourage attendees to bring non-perishable food items for the Lincoln Lutheran Food Pantry.

Join us in celebrating the talents of the Nebraska Jazz Orchestra, the eminent “big band” of eastern Nebraska. Led by Ed Love, the septet stands as the largest group to grace the stage in the 13-year history of First Friday Jazz.
