Each person is a unique creation of God and, through grace, is a child of God. The people of First Lutheran Church welcome all because God welcomes all, without regard for race or culture, sexual orientation, gender identity or relationship status, physical or mental challenges, imprisonment, addictions, socio-economic circumstances, or anything else that too often divides us. First Lutheran Church is a spiritual community that celebrates the gifts of God that can empower us to engage in the struggles of life, to care for each other, and to serve Christ where we work and live. Our unity is in Christ.
If you are seeking, needing or are curious about being part of a faith community that truly welcomes all, we invite you to explore First Lutheran Church. Our Welcome Statement above says it all, but we also know that actions speak louder than words.
So, come. Experience our welcome for yourself. Join us for worship at 5:30 PM on Saturdays or 8:15 and 10:45 AM on Sundays. Better yet, join us for our First Lutheran 101 sessions on February 11 and 18, 2024, from 9:30-10:30 AM in the Lower Level Room Blue 2 to learn more about what First has to offer you and to explore how our faith community can become your faith community, too! It’s an opportunity to meet others interested in First Lutheran membership and staff. Childcare will be available during these sessions in the church nursery. We would love to have you!
If you choose to join First Lutheran, new members will be officially received at worship services on Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3. If you would like to attend First Lutheran 101, please sign up online. Each adult attending should complete the online form.
