First Lutheran 201: What’s a Lutheran, Anyway?

By January 16, 2026Adults, Learn, News

If you’re new to First Lutheran, new to the Lutheran church or simply curious about what it means to be Lutheran, you’re invited to First Lutheran 201—a four-week class led by Pastor Erin.

The class will meet Sundays in February (February 1, 8, 15 & 22) at 9:30 AM in Lower Level Room Blue 2. Together, we’ll explore Lutheran identity using Daniel Erlander’s Baptized, We Live: Lutheranism as a Way of Life, looking at history, worship, the eucharist and how Lutheran theology shapes the way we live and follow Christ.

Free copies of the book are available in the church office. No sign-up is required—just pick up a copy and read the first chapter before our first session on February 1. Questions? Email Pastor Erin at pastererin@flclincoln.org.
