For the last four years, First Lutheran members have stepped up to the Thrivent 500 Can Challenge by donating 500 and more nonperishable food items for the Lutheran Food Pantry. We are once again accepting the challenge and invite members and non-members to help us meet our goal by bringing food donations to the display in the Gathering Area at First Lutheran by November 28. If we meet the goal (and why would we not?), the Nebraska Thrivent Chapter will send a $500 check to the Pantry! Join us in the challenge and help us stock the shelves of the Lutheran Food Pantry to feed our neighbors experiencing hunger.
