First Lutheran Pop Up on the Prairie on October 22

What: Spring Creek Prairie’s Annual Hoot ‘n’ Howl! Celebrate the fall season and the amazing time of dusk as day turns to night.

When: Saturday, October 22

Who: Members and friends of First Lutheran who would love to experience a free outdoor fall festival set in 850 acres of tallgrass prairie

Where: Spring Creek Prairie, 11700 SW 100th St, Denton (15 miles from Lincoln)

Time:

  • 4:30 pm: Meet First Lutheran member, Martha Tanner, behind the Visitor Center for a short prairie hike before the festival begins.
  • 5:00 pm: Gather behind the Visitor Center to connect with the First Lutheran crew for music, a live bird show, wagon rides through the tall grass, costumed prairie animals and interactive displays.
  • Stay as long as you would like – the festival ends at 8:00 pm.
