First Lutheran Church has a long and rich tradition of active involvement in the Lincoln/Lancaster County CROP Hunger Walk. Beginning in 2018, First Lutheran is privileged to serve as the host site for the walk on Sunday, October 14, at 1:30 pm. 25% of the money raised by walkers stays in our local community. This is a wonderful opportunity for First Lutheran to show their hospitality! First members are encouraged to become involved with the CROP Walk in numerous ways: be a walker, financially support a walker, help with registration or marking the walk route, greet and direct walkers, help recipient agencies set up displays, restock and serve donated refreshments.
