One of the positive things that has resulted from the pandemic and the closing of our church is the emergence of new online ministries. One of these is “Gather and Gab.” Every Thursday evening at 8:00 pm a group of individuals have been gathering on Zoom. They use The Wired Word to guide their discussion. The Wired Word focuses on a news story from the previous week and views it through a Christian lens attaching biblical references and discussion questions. The story allows participants to have a conversation about their role in society as Christians, to think outside the box, wrestle with difficult issues and consider ways they might respond in the world around them. This group is open to both men and women of high school age or older and you can join in as your schedule allows.
