The Gifts of Hope digital catalog is now live online!
The Gifts of Hope Alternative Giving Market, an annual outreach by First Lutheran Church, centers on the belief that focusing on a meaningful, peace-filled Advent and Christmas giving season is important and very possible.
Gifts of Hope is not a crafts fair or holiday bazaar. Here’s what it is:
• Each Gift of Hope in this catalog funds the work of a trusted program that makes a real difference in people’s everyday lives.
• Your purchases are actually donations to featured non-profits. You and the people who receive your gifts become part of their life-giving stories.
• 100% of each donation amount is directed to these partners. Not one penny stays at First Lutheran Church.
Our Gifts of Hope collaborations with local, regional and international groups reflect First Lutheran’s commitment to welcoming all and striving for peace and justice in the world.
Purchasing Gifts of Hope is eye-opening and often fun.
• Enjoy browsing the catalog. It’s an interactive tool that can spark family conversations about holiday giving. Notice the many ways that people come together to make lives better, here, and across the globe.
• Links, videos and photos on each catalog page explain each partner group’s
purpose and work. Perhaps you’ll want to be involved as a volunteer or offer support in other ways throughout the year.

The online cart and checkout make shopping safe and easy. Plan to make your life-changing Gifts of Hope purchases when the online store opens at 8:00 am on Saturday, December 4. The online store closes for shopping at 10:00 pm on Sunday, December 5.
You can also shop the market in-person at First Lutheran Church (1551 S. 70th Street) and meet the people behind each program on Sunday, December 5, from 9:00 am-Noon.
