The First Lutheran Church Endowment Fund provides a unique and lasting stewardship vehicle for people to express special gratitude to God for the blessings they have received. In 2017, the Endowment Fund distributed funds to support scholarships to thirteen college students at First Lutheran, scholarships for past BackPack recipients planning to attend college, the People’s City Mission for Thanksgiving turkeys to be distributed to those in need, First Lutheran quilters for quilting materials and the Pastor’s Discretionary Fund.
You have the opportunity to enhance the Fund by making a Memorial Day Remembrance gift. You can honor a family member or celebrate the memory of a loved one. Donors will be recognized in the church bulletin the weekend of June 2-3, 2018. The amount of your gift will not be listed. Anonymous donations are also welcome.
Please turn your gift into the church office by May 30, 2018. Provide your name, the name of the one you are honoring or remembering and indicate if you want your gift anonymous or not. Thank you for your gift!
