Sign up in the Commons for one of the many projects we have lined up for God’s Work Our Hands starting this Sunday, October 8, through Sunday, October 15. The Serve Day is on Saturday, October 21, starting with a blessing of the hands in the Activity Center at 8:15 am, service projects between 9:00 am and Noon and ending with a light lunch gathering in the Activity Center until 1:00 pm. It’s all about accompaniment- walking with! Projects include work at camp, gathering prairie seeds, yard work, quilting, organizing supplies, sharing music and more. Donations of gently used coats and winter gear for all ages for Lutheran Family Services, magazines, new adult gloves and stocking caps, food items and personal items for the UNL Lutheran Center’s pantry will also be collected.
