Good Neighbors: Followers of Christ Prison Ministry

Last night during our Holden Evening Prayer service, Pastor Andrew interviewed Pastor Rob Corum of the Nebraska Synod’s Followers of Christ Prison Ministry as our Good Neighbor guest.

Followers of Christ shares the love of Jesus with incarcerated individuals throughout Nebraska through worship, Bible study and mentoring—especially with those preparing to reenter society.

In this thoughtful conversation, Pastor Rob speaks honestly about the joys and challenges of prison ministry and reminds us that there is no difference between God’s love for us and God’s love for those behind prison walls.

He also shares four ways congregations and individuals can support this important ministry.

It’s a powerful interview that may challenge us to reflect on our own attitudes, perceptions and beliefs about whether God’s grace and love truly are for all.

Take a few minutes to watch and listen.
