Guided Tour of International Quilt Center and Museum

Who? People of all ages (To help with planning, please email Barb Johnson Frank at bjohnsonfrank@gmail.com.)

Where? 1523 North 33rd Street, Lincoln.

Why? A rare opportunity to explore traveling exhibits that connect us with life stories from Liberia, India, Ghana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and the U.S./Mexico border.

BONUS: 45 minute tours will be led by docent, Mary Ann Leefers, with support from members of the Furkay-Wleh-Koffa family who have close ties to Sinoe County, Liberia.

When? Two options:

Friday, May 10 – Please arrive no later than 10:45 am

Saturday, May 11 – Please arrive no later than 12:45 pm

Admission:  $8/$6 seniors, $4 ages 5-18.

UNL students with NCards, UNL faculty/staff and guest, and children under 5 are free. If cost is a concern, please contact Barb Johnson Frank; a limited number of tickets are available at no charge. For more details about the Quilt Center and its exhibits, see www.quiltstudy.org.
