There was lots of horn honking, lights flashing and singing, waving and smiling at Sunday’s Parking Lot Christmas Caroling! It was the largest gathering of First Lutheran members and the fullest our parking lot has been since closing our doors due to COVID-19 in March. It was a lot of fun, but most importantly, it offered a sense of community in ways many of us haven’t experienced for a long time. Special thanks to Masako Bacon, Sharon Hardel and the Fellowship Committee for planning and preparing for the event and to our Master of Ceremonies, Jeff Greunke; song leaders, Becca Simley and Sharon Hardel; and pianist, Christine Carman, for igniting the Christmas spirit within all of us.
