In-Person Worship Services Resume on Sunday

The red doors of the Sanctuary will open this Sunday, March 14, for in-person worship services at 8:15 am and 10:45 am – the first time on a Sunday since March 8, 2020!

Our Wednesday mid-week Lenten services, starting on Ash Wednesday, have gone very well and the rates of spread of the coronavirus are greatly reduced with more people getting vaccinated as each week passes. But, there is still progress to be made. In the meantime, we will limit attendance in the Sanctuary to 25% of capacity and set up additional seating in the Activity Center, if necessary. We ask you to pre-register to help us plan appropriately. Pre-registration for Sunday worship will open every Wednesday with pre-registration for our mid-week Lenten services opening on Sundays.

We will also continue to require everyone in the building to wear a mask properly and to maintain at least 6 feet distance from people not part of their own household.

We also know that many people are not yet ready to return in person. Each person and each family will make the decisions that are best for them. So, we will continue to livestream the 8:15 am service on our Facebook page with a recording available to watch on-demand on our Livestream web page.

We have been on this journey together for a year now and we will continue to walk with and support each other until we are all able to safely worship together in person again.

Welcome to worship at First Lutheran Church!
