A sincere thanks to First Lutheran for opening your hearts (and wallets) to help our community kids in need through Kicks for Kids. With First Lutheran members providing 298 pairs of new shoes and 128 pairs of shoes donated by Kicks for Kids of Nebraska we will be donating 426 pairs of shoes to kids whose feet are waiting for them! Which means…there is still more work to be done and we need you to help! This Sunday come to the Activity Center at 9:30 AM for an intergenerational hour of service when we prepare the shoes for delivery to the students. We will put everyone to work cutting tags, adding socks to boxes and sorting the shoes by schools. It will be fun, but important work. So come and see what First Lutheran can accomplish when we all work to complete a project together!
