Omaha jazz singer and songwriter, Camille Metoyer Moten, is the featured artist for the First Friday Jazz concert at First Lutheran on Friday, December 7. Camille will be performing songs from her newest CD which will be released on December 6. Since the concert will be held on the anniversary of the Pearl Harbor bombing she will include some World War II songs. She will also feature some Christmas holiday music. Camille is well-known in the region and is a First Friday Jazz favorite. She will be joined by Mark Haar on bass and David P. Murphy on keyboard.
The free concert is from 11:30 am-1:00 pm and offers a lunch option for purchase. Please help us fill the shelves of the local food pantry by donating non-perishable food items.
And, don’t forget to bring a friend or two with you!
